The new firmware solves the problem that hard disk temperature cannot be detected.
Warning: Please umount your hard drive before upgrading. After upgrade, you have to system off safely and pull out power plug and then connect it again.
after running the script, my whole raid array failed…
edit: now /dev/sda spitting out errors…
edit2: in OMV, sda is keeps saying unable to open /dev/sda… and also getting usb reset errors…

edit: about the bad connection, the drives were never touched since they were first tightly installed into the quad sata hat… 1st test yielded sustained 100mb/s raid rebuild speeds over 2hrs… after f/w update, sustained 30-40mb/s raid rebuild speeds… drives have not been touched physically since installation… so bad connection quite unlikely, or it would have failed the 1st test…
edit2: dismantled and reconnected the device as per instruction…still getting the same bad raid building speed of 10mb/s to 25mb/s… the 3 HDD is seated on SATA 1,2,4…

Hi,
After only installer 2 disks, unmount them, make update, version is correctly displayed
After shutdown my Raspberry PI and his SATA HAT for night, I’ve tried to restart : stuck : NO MORE disks visible !
I’ve wiped my sdcard to have fresh system, installed raspbian lite + OVM + HAT SATA bin + JMicron drive fix : still no disk detected (but blues lights blinking).
I’ve stop system, wipe one more time, change 2 previously disks for 2 news disks without the update : fail still no disk detected
ls -l /sys/block
root@R2D2:/home/pi# lsblk

From my POV add support for many disks. On my 4 disks (all WD), 2 before patch didn’t show any informations under OVM disks/SMART tabs. After patch : 4 disks returns datas and temp.
