OMV WebUI shows one HDD instead of 2 (I tried the tutorial method)

OMV does not support RAID on SATA HAT

When I installed OMV on the SATA HAT with 4 drives, the drives are recognized fine but the webUI does not allow to create a RAID on them. When I created the RAID manually by command mdadm, it was created fine and also shows up in the OMV webUI. In the OMV forum they do not recommend RAID on the SATA HAT because it is viewed as an USB device. They also say it is not recommended due to stability issues and a RAID would not bring extra security. The same seems to apply to LVM, OMV did not allow …

Missing Disks in OMV

Hi everyone:) I have the same problem as dicussed here. In OMV I can see only two of the drives in the section Storage/Disks but under File Systems/create I can see all four drives [WD Red]) Edit: They also show up on the concole (see screenshot) [Anmerkung%202020-06-17%20185914] However, I am too stupid to understand the solution, that is posted on the official page. Cannot create RAID in OMV

I’ve installed OpenMediaVault and successfully applied the JMicron “fix” to get all four hard drives to appear in the drive section. When I try to create a RAID, none of the drives appear. Am I doing something wrong? How can I create a RAID? I have run “wipefs -a /dev/sb*” on all the drives [image] [image]
