it tries to write the img to spi

think your in maskrom and for flashing pcie you have to be in loader mode

load first a miniloaderall.bin in last last tab advanced functions for boot to loader mode and then go to firmware and flash the image to your pcie

why having the top line marked ?
that is a empty line so you selecting the spi as well but dont flash it with something .

you have to unmark the top line you r flashing the pcie not the spi and pcie

flasj raxda android , then flash image and
just unmark the line you have green and flash

yeah that’s what I’ve done. I flashed the raxda android image then flashed your android image to PCIE but it doesn’t boot at at all, no kernel activty it’s just solid green led on the board.

yes but you marked the loader image also to be flashed empty

at the green line on your photo the marking v has be removed with the img you flash second

so first raxda image with boot marked v and mine image afterwards with only the last marked with v

I’ve just reflashed the raxda image and then your image to PCIE however it doesn’t boot - just the solid green LED

@thc013 how can I check which wifi drivers have been included? So far I failed to getting wifi to work under Android. I am using Intel 7265

Hi @thc013, I have the same issue as Tungmeister:

Flashed the radxa android image first with RKDevTool to the PCIE NVMe SSD. Connected it to TV for testing and it worked (android surface with apps, but no Wi-Fi). Then flashed your image as shown above to PCIE. But not booting. Only black screen and green solid LED on the Rock 5B.
Only wanted to report.

Would like to try SD card (as i have no EMMC), but don’t know how to wipe out the NVMe SSD to get it working.

intel wont work for that you have to be lucky , i will look if i can change something for that but no promise

https://wiki.radxa.com/Rock5/hardware/wifi the sdio uart ones should work , for the usb pcie ones i have to make another image

then the pcie booting is not good yet then :slight_smile: , i could not test it so thnx for trying it can not be far for getting to work .uboot should at least work do you have a log perhaps ?

no maskrom or loadermode ? it are 2 diffrent states

maskrom is with the key , loadermode is from miniloader.bin

maskrom is fine but loader doesn’t work. I can flash via maskrom but doesn’t boot.

Xiaomi RC does not work in current build. It pairs, but no keys work.

Nice work btw. Question… Is there a method to get the screensaver to work? I have an OLED and its a death sentence with no screensaver.
