Raid creation failure - hardware issues
hi @setq can you advise possible alternative power supplies that are better than the one mentioned sold from allnet. I have the same problem and otained the same kit from the same vendor. I have wasted probably about 100 hours trying various ssd’s hdd’s rebuilding images i’ve tried both the reccomended ubuntu & raspian distro’s sd cards, even a completely different PI & Used some known working usbA to A cables to rule out the usb block being at fault.
I see the same issues with the USB crashing when attempting to create the array they will come back but out of sync… even when i attempt to create a raid array with partuuid the array will fail and not work . Even If i assume clean it will eventually crash when under load which ties in with @unelectrically’s theory the psu is unable to hack it when under load.
