SMART read problems on drives on the same bridge

Hi
When I read the SMART data from drives only one drive on each bridge reports properly. The disks are identical.
/dev/sdb reports correctly
/dev/sda reports incorrectly

As an example
sector size is reported incorrectly for dev/sda
sector size is reported correctly for dev/sdb

pi@NAS01:~ $ sudo smartctl -a -d auto /dev/sda
