How do I disable onscreen Android keyboard in android settings?
All I see is keyboard pops up when I press the letters and when I type nothing appears on the field as if I am not typing anything… I am sure the keyboard works and the battery is also full…

Now I can see that I have Xing Wei 2.4 GHz. I can only type numbers but not letters… I don’t know why…

Hi mo123: is my WiFi keyboard included in your latest firmware? I will test it and get back to you. If not which keyboard app can I use so that my wireless keyboard works when I press alphabets…it’s strange that trackpad and the numbers on my keyboard in your last firmware detected but not the Alphabets!!! What could be the reason?

Thanks. Finally you did it. My bad thinking that you won’t release it soon I ordered eMMC and it’s tools to solder myself the eMMC to my PCB. So now I don’t need to do this circus on my 5b+…

Thanks for this build. It is working fine, I am using other wireless keyboard where the buttons are also working. But one strange thing I noticed is that while watching movies probably say after 1 hour or so the box gets automatically shuts down and the remote fails to wake him up. Is there any setting I can change so that this spontaneous switch off will not happen ???
One more request, is it possible to build a dual boot with your ROM and a coreelec? I am sure you know what is Coreelec. I like it better than Kodi in android because of its stability and performance with video playing. I saw a link on GitHub where you can create Dualboot firmware for sbc. Here is the link

Try the Rock5B+ firmware not the Rock5B.
CoreELEC doesn’t support Rockchip devices, only Amlogic even if there is some Rockchip code in it and Amlogic dual-boot scripts can’t work on Rockchip devices. If CoreELEC support is important, don’t buy Rockchip. Rockchip supports LibreELEC but only for a limited number of devices with no audio passthrough or HDR support and with each new release existing things that work break again so I gave up on using LibreELEC as it has too many bugs and problems. Using Kodi directly on Armbian images works much better.

Need help pls. I tried your 5b+ nvme image and to my surprise it is booting into android recovery…I don’t know why. I didn’t try sdcard/eMMC firmware for 5b+…did you test 5b+ nvme firmware? Any quick fix pls ?
FYI: your 5b NVME firmware did boot on 5b+ without any issues, not the 5b+ nvme firmware
