Mo123, I can’t wait to try the new Rock 5B Firmware (1.10) that you’ve built today.
You seems to made it rock solid!
I will put it on eMMC!
I would appreciate the password. Cheers!!
EDIT: Guys, with the 1.10 version, do I have to Flash with Magisk? If yes, what is the benefit to do it?
Thanks for your help!
You can root with Magisk or APatch.
Magisk is more user-friendly and patches the ramdisk.
APatch patches the kernel and might hide root better from apps.
@Huseyin_Dinc Have you tried different USB ports and file manager apps?
Also check if the hard drives can be externally powered and what file format it uses as suggested.
Something in Radxa’s code might have changed if above doesn’t fix it.
The netflix and amazon prime app can be installed via google app store but they do not start btw they crash. What must be done that they work successfull?
@incognito @mo123
it’s Formate exfat .in the image of thc013 these ssd work great, I use diferent apps but in your image I can’t see my ssd just can see the sd card and pendrive usb
@data_craft
Rock5A/B doesn’t support Widevine L1 that is required to run those apps.
Google doesn’t grant such a licenses to development boards, only to locked down tv boxes/sticks that can’t run Linux or boot from external storage.
@Huseyin_Dinc Is the sd card or pendrive also formatted as exfat or not?
The firmware already supports exfat.
It might be the code updates from Radxa that broke something.
