It has less bugs than Rock5A/B firmware at the moment.

Addition.
In principle, itā€™s not bad, it turns out to root Magisk on any firmware, including AOSP Android 12 Radxa, by simply patching Magisk 6.boot.img from the firmware file and then flashing the new boot.img to the /boot /dev/sda7 partition via EMMC Reader under Linux
sudo dd if=boot.img of=/dev/sda7
sync

I think it will turn out similar on NVME firmware, because the firmware file is encrypted and the archiver does not open, then try to extract this file with commands under Linux under NVME Reader from the boot partition, patch and flash similarly to EMMC Reader

The built-in boot.img replacement tools unfortunately caused the system to crash.

Hi, I did go to OPi forum, and downloaded your version for my OPi5.
I cannot reply from that forum, as I am waiting to be let in as member. Itā€™s been a few days.

@mo123 . big question, do you think you could release a vanilla (or a patch on existing radxa android 12 image) android image addressing 2 main problems Radxa donā€™t seem to care about.

  1. Android settings are forgotten on reboot, e.g. if I change display resolution it reverts to default on reboot.
  2. ā€œsd card unsupportā€ for all SD cards. even if you can just set something to hide this so the user never sees it.

Youā€™d get legend status with me if u can handle that. Iā€™d even buy you some beer or coffee.
