You can try v7.42
It seems the newer versions of Netflix have problems or Netflix is blocking them from installing on some devices.
In the APKPure app, there is ‘Previous Versions’ text, click on it to download older versions of apps.

This app can be used together with the Hijack Suite Free Xposed Module to make some apps work that check Safetynet if Magisk doesn’t work. - Magisk patched by default again
You also need to enable ‘Hide Magisk’ in Magisk Manager’s Settings otherwise the BasicIntegrity test will fail. Using a Xiaomi Mi 7 as fingerprint and device sumulation with all settings enabled makes both CTS and BasicIntegrity tests pass

What a great job!! Thank you so much mo123 It is exactely what I was looking for.
I just have a little small problem, I have a “NanoPc-T4” which should run it smoothly but that is not the case… I think it is because it boot from SD Card and not from the internal emmc storage…? (I also have nanopi m4, but didn’t test it yet)
I’m not an expert and my knowledge is very limited, but I can fix it if you tell me how with detailed steps.
Also I noticed at the first boot it goes to TWRP and does some work and there are some errors (red lines), I just could read something like “mccblk0p18 wrong size” or something like this, but manage to reboot on ths OS.

If it uses removable emmc then the emmc can also be flashed with etcher and a USB-emmc reader or emmc-sd-memory card reader.
The NanoPi devices uses different kernel drivers and pin settings(dts) so some things might not work correctly or slow down eg. wrong ram timings etc.
I get about 20MB write speed from my micro-sd card writing with etcher and it performs almost the same as the emmc.
It’s a pity they don’t upgrade from Android 8 to Android 9.
Some RK3399 manufacturers are already releasing Android 10 for RK3399 devices.
It is fixed, I changed the sd card for a faster one I had and also I was on 7 inch LCD to test now it’s on my 55" TV and it is working very well except Bluetooth, I think Rockpi and Nanopi don’t have the same bluetooth hardware, any idea for a fix I would like to connect my bluetooth remote control.
For the apps already installed like youtube can I uptade or should I keep the version already installed untill your next release?
Last thing I noticed I can’t root apps in the setting, only adb can be rooted, I don’t know if it has any impact.

Fixing bluetooth is very complicated.
SmartYoutubeTV is installed, so you can update it if it asks and Youtube Vanced deosn’t need to be updated otherwise you loose add-free playback if you update it to the original Youtube app through APKPure app store.
You use Magisk Manager to manage root for apps, it’s in the app drawer.
Bluetooth fixed, signal was poor so I put antenna and now it detects all devices.
Concerning APKs why is there 2 versions : Google and APKPure? What is the conditions that an apk works on your OS? For me Netflix and Prime work only with APKPure version.

Google ATV Play Store - To download apps that are AndroidTV compatible and can show a banner icon on the homescreen launcher.
The Google ATV Play Store has a lot less apps compared to the APKPure app store or the Google Play Store found on a phone.
APKPure App Store - To download normal Android apps compatible with phones, tablets etc.
These apps won’t show a banner icon on the homescreen, so you have to access them through the AppDrawer app shortcut on the homescreen that can show their icons.
This app store can also keep non AndroidTV apps updated since the Google ATV Store only keeps AndroidTV apps updated.
You can also use Aptoide or UptoDown app stores to install more apps.
Netflix and Amazon Prime both require separate licenses that cost in the millions to be able to use the AndroidTV compatible apps. They also require locked devices, so any open-source ARM board that works with custom firmwares or can boot Linux can’t get licenses from them.
So APKPure or sideloading the phone versions of these apps still works.
Google blocks Chromecast on non bootloader-locked devices and devices not certified by them.
You aren’t allowed to boot Linux or custom firmwares and Google has to certify each firmware update from the manufacturer which takes several weeks each time. So basically a manufacturer has to give up all software control to Google with only a limited role left.
You can use apps like these for some casting ability for Youtube, Chrome browser etc. search online for the apk apps. Apps like Netflix will still block casting because of above.

I made a LibreELEC image for RockPi 4 that also allows you to run Netflix up to 1080p quality.
Or if using Android, the Netflix addon for Kodi also works well if you setup Kodi’s whitelist and set up frame-rate switching so videos can play at the correct frame-rates, video playback will then be smoother and more natural compared to using the Netflix app.

You will have to ask Sony for firmware compatible with their tv’s, it should be on their website or only allow ota updates from the tv’s itself.
Sony tv’s use Mediatek chipsets while the RockPi 4 uses a Rockchip RK3399 chipset, so it can only work on a RockPi 4(or RK3399 device with similar hardware).
Etcher is a program to write firmware images to micro-sd cards for ARM devices or for writing Linux/Windows images to a USB drive for use on a PC.

This is a RK3399 chipset firmware and you have a RK3328 chipset device so it won’t work.
If you try to flash it with AndroidTool it will tell you there is an ID/chipset mismatch and refuse to flash.

There is no custom ROM for it.
Never buy ship and forget devices which don’t even have a website from the manufacturer to contact them.
