How to use Raspberry Pi 7" Touchscreen with Rock Pi 4

The instructions here: https://wiki.radxa.com/Rockpi4/hardware/display#MIPI_DSI_Display

Say to edit file /boot/hw_intfc.conf

That file doesn’t exist. My rock pi is running: Operating System: Debian GNU/Linux 10 (buster)

Hello, does anyone have updated instructions?

Same here. And still trying to get the display working with a Rock Pi 4 Plus (v1.73). Further explanation below.
I found something helpful here Official Rapsberry Pi Display. In that quite old case it was a problem with the kernel. Since debian buster is now the current release, for that dist the fix does not work. Does someone has a fix for that problem?

What I tried:

  1. Flashed debian buster from radxa download section an microSD card.
  2. Created the following file since it doesn’t existed: /boot/hw_intfc.conf
  3. Added the following line: intfc:dtoverlay=raspberrypi-7-inch-lcd
  4. Inserted microSD card to rock pi
  5. connected 15pin flex to rock pi and official raspberry pi display
  6. connected power and ground cable to rock pi and official raspberry pi display
  7. powered the rock pi with 12V power supply via usb c

What happened:

  1. It seems that the rock pi is booting. Green led is on. Blue led blinks twice every second or so.

What doesn’t work:

  1. Raspberry Pi Display stays black.

Could it be, that there is still a problem with the kernel in the debian release provided by radxa?

Best regards
