FydeOS for 5b runs on ROCK 5A after replacing dtb

Currently fydeOS for you haven’t officially support ROCK 5A.
However, by replacing the /boot/dtbs/rockchip/rk3588-rock-5b.dtb with rk3588s-rock-5a.dtb, it runs well on ROCK 5A as an early preview XD

Yeah it needs to be on emmc to boot, which was the same when I did the test
However, you can still boot it off tf card if you hook up the uart console and interrupt the u-boot, use mmc dev X(X is the number for sdhci) and then run mmc_boot

Hi!
Can’t find this path: /boot/dtbs/rockchip/rk3588-rock-5b.dtb with rk3588s-rock-5a.dtb

Where you replacing dtb file? In original image\At uSD card\eMMC?

eMMC in ‘ROOT-A/boot/rockchip’ has .dtb collection with rk3588s-rock-5a.dtb file

Yeah and apparently if you use that rock-5b and rename to that one you should be able to boot it.
I tried that and didnt worked for me… If you do it… let me know.
Use sudo nautilus u will find the path select show hidden files etc.
