Fans running in reverse

I’m not sure if it’s even possible, or maybe i’m going crazy… I just re-installed the latest sata-hat tools and I swear my fans are now running in reverse…
I’m 98% sure that my top fan was blowing outwards before, but now it’s drawing air inward.
On top of that, it seems to be a little louder and runs a few degrees hotter.

Can anyone else confirm this? Or have I just just lost the plot ><

Note on my modifications:
I have replaced the stock fan with a Noctua as many others have, made some minor customization to the top hat scripts (adding an extra fan level, and writing fan DC to the display) and set pigpiod to run in -m (no sampling mode) to reduce the cpu overhead.

The software will not change the direction of the fan.

there’s no way the fans would physically be able to run in reverse (they have polarity protection built in)… the edits in the top hat python script must also have a matching adjustment in the config file, or else it would go nuts… did u remember to change the config file to also add the additional fan level?

i made a lot of modifications to the script myself and i’m not seeing anything crazy happening…
