Disable or dim blue LED indicators

I’d like to disable or dim the blue LEDs. I saw that this issue has already been raised by someone, but there was no response:

Is it possible to disable the LEDs on the Quad Sata Pi Hat?

I’ve looked around everywhere and couldn’t find a solution. I just want to turn off the lights at night because it’s not christmas yet and I can’t really sleep because the lights are too bright.

It would be great to know if it’s possible or not.

Unfortunately - You can’t just turn them off, but still You can just use black (or any non transparent) tape to cover them. This always works
With designed case they are not that bright

The lights will burn itself out in about 2-3 years of continued use… i have the quad hat and the blue LEDs are dead…
