Zero shows up as "meson" instead of "GX-Chip"

I have the problem that i cannot re-flash my zero because it shows up as “meson” in the device manager.

I’m trying to flash it with a win10 machine according to the wiki.

What i have done so far… I flashed a backup ubuntu img from a 1.4 zero to the new 1.51 zero. For this step everything worked fine. eMMc showed up as GC-Chip with id “1b8e:c003” and i flashed it with balenaEtcher. Then it turned out that the wifi is not working because of the hardware revision, so i now need to reflash the zero with the latest ubuntu server img from github. But here is now my problem. If i now plugin in the zero to my win10 machine it shows up as “meson” instead of “GX-Chip” and the id is now “1b8e:0006”.
The zero (if powered up normally) will boot up just fine without any problems.

I also tried to change the usb port without any change in behavior.

I hope you can help me.

I’d boot from SD card, then download/overwrite the emmc with whatever bootable image that you want to use.
