I don’t have emmc writer with me and trying to write Ubuntu image to emmc from the board itself (dd) while booted with Ubuntu from SD card. I’ve tried couple of times and the board was not booting from emmc. Now it’s even not appearing in lsblk output. Any ideas how to check if it’s still alive and how to write image to it?

Did you unzip (decompress) the image first, if it’s an xz file? What is the image file called?

Sure, did it with unxz. The image name is the following: rock-5b-ubuntu-focal-server-arm64-20221031-1328-gpt.img. The same one I wrote to sd card and booted successfully.
The fact that emmc is not appearing now is really concerning.
Hmm. Try reseating the card maybe. Make sure it’s in the connector properly?
