Wine32 required to install MyPhoneExplorer...?

There’s no Linux port of MyPhoneExplorer and to use it I have to install wine. Which I did. However, when attempting to run the MPE executable I receive an error message to install wine32 which I cannot find as a package.

Is there a wine32 package somewhere, and what is it called please?

Have you tried PlayonLinux or Lutris?

No, I haven’t heard of them before. Are they apps which connect to the phone to extract data, like MPE?

It’s front-ends for Wine in Linux and installs most dependencies required by Wine for Windows apps to run correctly. Research it a bit, it makes Wine a lot more useful.

Ok, wilco. Thanks

I have installed PlayonLinux and Lutris cannot be found. I then found winetricks in my Accessories (GUI), ran it, but no visible response or result. Then after running this command:

wine ~path/MyPhoneExlorer_Setup_1.8.12.exe, I get the following error message:

Package wine32 is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source

E: Package ‘wine32’ has no installation candidate
root@linaro-alip:/home/linaro/Desktop#

I receive the same message for v1.7.5

btw…I am not a gamer, and MyPhoneExplorer isn’t a game. It’s a Windows utility to access your phone and edit data and retrieve settings, contacts, and messages.

…guys, just for your information. Wine is NOT something that will magically transform ARM64(!) to x86-64. Wine is something that convert Linux commands for x86-64(!) to Windows commands for x86-64(!) and other way. To make arm64 works with winExe you need
Or Hangover

Or qemu and windows installation on it
