same issue with ubuntu, i just made a micro sd with radxaos and boot it from boot selector
I cant find wifi driver AIC8800 for windows arm64 on Radxa Dragon
Hi!
Out of curiosity, because I have some OPi eMMC modules here and because of the flash memory shortage: If I removed the connector on the UFS side from the eMMC module, would that prevent the short circuit and make the module work with a Q6A?
Yes, that would work.
Still cant find drivers for wifi AX1800 (dual band usb adapter)
Just received Q6A this morning,Two problems:
1 - installed on SSD (Brand new) following instructions windows 11 25H2, no problem all went as expected, done all the steps, installed drivers and all the required. working perfectly some hours working, after that time the computer went to BIOS screen and not able to start windows again, the NVMe seems not to be present, as per CoPilot, the SSD has been locked for unknown reason.(of course disable sleep).
2 - the wired network connects to my network but doesnât connect to internet?? I can surf over my network at home but not able to use internet.
Hi. Please try manually installing the official Realtek driver here:
Iâve installed new network drivers in my first attempt and there was no improvement.
now I cannot install anything because NVMe SSD is not recognized even the SSD is recognized in another computers, could be a failure of the NVME socket and SBC? or any misconfiguration in the BIOS?
I think I had similar issue. A few days after installing Windows I tried to boot but the system showed that there arenât any boot disks. After hours of work on making the disk visible again (I even cleaned NVMe contacts) I somehow did it (please donât ask how - just one of the random ways worked), but the system registry files were damaged (maybe because of many reboots). When another couple of hours of trying to recreate it with a repair pendrive passed without effects, I just formatted the NVMe and reinstalled the system.
so not from msd card ?
Windows only runs at 30hz, no matter what resolution i canât get it to run at 60hz. I am using Win 11 LTSC. UPDATE: nevermind i fixed the issue. its the monitorâs problem.
Hi! Firstly thank all the staffs for their efforts! It has been half a year since the first release. So is there any update with the driver for Wifi & BT? I would appreciate it if there is any update, since I need the bt function to test my gamepad. If not, is there any open source implementations that I can refer to and port it to windows on arm? Or is there any USB wireless adapter available on woa?
No drivers available for integrated AIC WIFI and any other usb wifi adapters(and I guess it never will be released). For BT I use cheap TP-LINK BT USB adapter.
I saw that Hardware Compatibility List - Windows IoT | Microsoft Learn has a compability list for USB Wifi adapters. However, they are designed for ARM32. I wonder if it can also be used for ARM64 (as they are not compatible like x86 and x86_64).
In addition @jack mentioned above that they are pushing AIC to release drivers. I also saw from a thread in Quectelâs forum Windows 11 Arm WiFi - Hardware - Quectel Forums (Quectel is the manufacturer of the WIFI&BT chip), and they said that they can provide ARM64 drivers for VIP customers. I donât know whether Radxa is a VIP customer. But if it also pushes Quectel, can it provide the drivers much quicker than AIC?
And lastly, I saw that linux drivers for AIC8800 is open source. If, I mean if, that we port the linux driver to WoA ourselves? Actually thatâs what many developers doing in WoR project. However, it could be a hard work and take months.
Thereâs a windows WiFi driverâŚ
@radxa please remove the scammer @claraniels21
I just tried it on my Dragon Q6A. It detect the networks but when I connect it does not have internet access. It looks similar to the issue I had with ethernet before installing the official realtek driver.
strongtz, Can you create please a new Windows image for Radxa Dragon Q6A with all integrated drivers and windows updates?
just get 24H2 ltsc from MAS, activate it MAS and disable telemetry with ooshutup, then download the driver package from the first message, follow the tutorial (the .pdf document), install Marioâs wifi+bt drivers and your board is ready
How to make the windows system to support other mipi-sdi screen and mipi-csi camera?
