Not yet, there is some discussion and initial work.
When I get SPDIF working, it will be mentioned on the Volumio forum.
Meanwhile there is a beta to download.
Missing SPDIF option has been resolved, a new version will be published soon.

Unofficial means no official support from the Volumio core team, but supported and maintained by community members. These images have full Volumio functionality, incl. Premium. See the link for more details
