Video 4K60Hz Debian

Who can clarify, it looks like 4K doesn’t work from box for Debian (a lot of freeze). Is it temporary or I do something wrong?

What do you mean by freezing? Is it a whole system freeze requiring a restart, the desktop freezing momentarily, or just the video player?

What video player are you using? If it is a web browser, then which website?

I tried to play video from the resource https://4kmedia.org/lg-new-york-hdr-uhd-4k-demo/ and from Youtube 4k60Hz like this https://youtu.be/LXb3EKWsInQ
Maybe I should install something additional.
Yes, only a video is freezing

I have hooked it up to my 4k tv at 60hz, but I haven’t tried playing video yet. Might try later to test.

I have hooked mine up with Debian on a 4K 60Hz TV, haven’t tried any other sources tho, but I played a YouTube video at 4K without issues.

Did you need to install anything additional? I’m trying to play 4K video with MPV, but it’s sluggish as hell with the provided Debian image :-/

Have a look at the discord too
