Using serial ports on dragon Q6

Hi

I am running the latest build of debain noble-gnome standard image r2 downloaded from Radxa this week.

I want to use UART6 (pins 16/18) and UART12 (pins 23/24)

I have enabled them without flow control using rsetup.

I was expecting a couple of ttySx to appear in /dev (I assumed ttyS6 and ttyS12) but they do not appear, only tty6 etc.

Is there something else I need to do?

serial terminal is working ok on UART5 (pins 8/10)

I can see ttyHS1 and ttyHS2 - perhaps they are the 2 serial ports I have enabled? I will test them.

ok problem solved, the two ports I’ve enabled are indeed ttyHS1 and ttyHS2

when i checked pin state via rsetup , they all show error. @martinw7750, are you able to use uart 6,7 or 14 ?
