Hi, I’ve ordered a couple of RockPis to play with - they were cheap enough that if it doesn’t work out, it’s no great loss.
I was curious about more low level hardware compatibility, for example, can I assume that if I want to use the Hitachi HD44780 displays with them that I can use existing raspberry pi libraries, assuming I map the GPIO pins appropriately, or will the low level instructions these use to set the logic levels on the pins be different? I did search the forum (for “HD44780”) but couldn’t find anything - if someone has reference code to make one of these displays work with a rock pi, that would be super!
