USB GPS on Android

Hello, I am new to Rock Pi and I’m hoping someone can help me.
I an running a 4c with Android 10 DL’d from Rock Pi’s wiki.
I have a GlobalSat BU-353-S4 USB GPS Receiver which is supposed to be compatible with Android.
The only way I can get it to work is by using the “You are Here” app (I tried the USB-GPS app, but I couldn’t get it to work). Anyways, the You are Here App isn’t very stable and I have to turn it on each time I turn the rock pi on. Is there a way to have the device recognize the GPS dongle as the native GPS?
