Hello,

i have 3 questions

• is there another way to supply the board with 12 V besides the USB-C port ?
• how much current does the onboard 5V converter supply for USB / NVME / GPIO ?
• what is the pin assignment of the PoE connector ?

we have no other 12V connector to supply the board

• how much current does the onboard 5V converter supply for USB / NVME / GPIO ?

the usb max current 1A and voltage 5V
the nvme max current 3A and voltage 3.3V
the gpio’s current depends on your software ,there are 4,8,12ma you can choose

• what is the pin assignment of the PoE connector ?
the POE has a two group ,pin 1,2 and pin3,4

Yes.

we have no other 12V connector to supply the board

There are no other connector. But if you dont mind soldering and hacking your board. There is a “hack”.

I don’t see a pin/pad that expose that net, but i found that u might be able to solder a power source VIN between the two 1206 caps.

I measured 20V Power In (when PD is connected) on this two caps, I think it might be possible to solder a wire at the middle of both cap as they are both VIN to the middle. (and your GND cable may goes to a GPIO GND Pin)

In that case you can supply anything from 5V upto 24V, u might be able to direct power the board with a few 18650s (as long as the output voltage is within 5-24V, that should be 2-5 pcs of 18650 in series)

suggestion for improvement:

• add a VIN + GND option where PINs can soldered
• change a Pin from POE Power to USB-C VIN
