Upper USB3 not working on Ubuntu Server/Debian

Hi everybody,
I recently bought a RockPi4B in which I need to use all 4 USB ports. However, the upper USB3 doesn’t work on Ubuntu (which would be my preferred OS for this project) and once the lower USB3 did not work as well. That means, the Rock Pi does not recognize anything that I connect to it. The hardware is fine as the ports do work on Armbian.

I have read that it may be an issue of the autosuspend feature in Ubuntu but I can’ t disable it since there is no /etc/default/grub in my distro like in this solution:

Does anybody know of a solution for this issue? Thanks a lot for your help!
Juan

Armbian is the best OS you can have on this hardware. It comes with Ubuntu or Debian package base. There is not such thing as Ubuntu anyway. Its just something that looks like Ubuntu.

Did you find the solution?
I have issues with Logitech C270 webcam. Sometimes browser fails to access it.

Did you try this?

Just switching the toggle on the underside did it for me! :slightly_smiling_face:
