I would like to install new kernel on rock5b.I used apt
to install new version
apt install linux-image-6.1.0
it was installed successfully, but after reboot, the old kernel persists.

kernel 6.1 doesn’t support rk3588
Some support, but sadly not all. From the article you linked: “Last missing bit for basic support is clock support, which is expected to arrive with the next kernel.”
