I recently installed AndroidTV 9 from the downloads page on my Rock Pi 4B 64GB eMMC with the official bootloader. When I try to install Astro (a streaming service app), it refuses to run, saying “Rooted Device.” Knowing Linux, I know that it can detect root privileges, probably for security reasons.
However, after searching around, and while I did find some solutions people said worked I am confused and don’t know how to begin the unrooting process. So, what I am asking here is just a clear, straightforward beginner-friendly guide to unroot the OS.
