Ubuntu server problems

Hi there,

I’m trying to get the ubuntu server image working on the rockpu 4b 4gb using an 128 GB emmc module obtained from reichelt.

Unfortunately I keep getting a black screen on boot, no login prompt or whatsoever.
I’ve tried flashing using both via etcher and win32disk imager, no success.

When i power on the rockpi the green light does turn on but no red light, i guess this indicates a boot failure ?

The hornblende image runs without any problems however.

Any ideas here ?

Dunno as it works for me but always use Micro SD.

You can also get a serial console https://wiki.radxa.com/Rockpi4/dev/serial-console
You can get them off ebay for a couple of $ and prob a bit quicker than the wait from china.
That would tell you why its not booting.
