The rock pi 4 supports pci express x4 through the m.2 m key connector.
The card I would like to use is the compex wle600vx. It’s a great, high power 802.11ac WiFi card (atheros ath9k driver).
Coupled with the PoE hat it would allow building great, compact and low power access point.
My problem is the card is mini pcie and won’t fit in the m.2 connector. Are there adapters to convert m.2 to mini pcie available? My initial Google searches gave nothing.
I’ve looked for good quality m.2 WiFi card (ath9k) and found nothing. The m.2 socket with m key seems only has real world use for SSD.
Is anybody using the m.2 for something else than SSD?
