Ssh refuses connection and no signal on mini DP nor on micro HDMI

I had a Rock Pi 4c Penta SATA working on Armbian and OMV as a NAS for about a year when ssh connections started to drop pretty quickly.

Finally I decided to start with a new download of Armbian (20221101-0124). After a good month not dealing with it (Rock Pi 4c switched off), I cannot connect to it anymore (ssh connection refused). I could probably deal with it, but I am completely locked out, because there is no signal on mini DP or micro HDMI.
What can I do to get access again?
Why is there no signal on mini DP and also not on micro HDMI?

Maybe we can use another sd card to install a new system and see if we can boot it.

The penta SATA HAT does not allow to use the SD card slot (when set up as a NAS), but yes, that would certainly be possible. My point is, that I just started from scratch with a new eMMC module, because ssh gave problems with the original set up, but then ssh refuses connection shortly after the new installation. There was never any signal via mini DP or micro HDMI. Are there any fixes to these problems?

Armbian is not officially maintained by Radxa. It is recommended that you use the official image for testing.

I actually do not want to test the system, I rather want to use it as a reliable NAS.
Which combination of file system, OS and NAS software do you recommend then?
