Sound out the HDMI

I’ve got sound in my headphone socket, but I can’t seem to route sound to the hdmi

does anyone know how?

Worked for me with the Armbian image without issues, just had to select the correct output. This was using ubuntu-desktop, and the daily release.

ah ok, I’m using the Debian image

ah found it, the sound can be sent to 3 audio outputs but they are not actually lablled for what they are, I tried setting the middle one and got my sound
