[solved] No Spyder over VNC

Hi there,

I’m trying to configure my rockpi 4b (debian) to use spyder. When i run spyder over HDMI it all works fine, but when I open spyder over VNC nothing happens. I’ve also tried ti run spyder using terminal, I’m gettig an error that it’s already running.

Does this mean that spyder is running over :0 while being on :1 ?

Does anyone have a clue how to reroute/fix this issue ?

Fixed it by installing vnc4server rather than tightvncserver!

Maybe interesting to add this to the wiki ? The whole installation process was without errors so maybe vnc4server is better as the radxa reccomended tightvncserver overall ?
