Seeking Help with Setting Up Rock Pi 4 for Media Center – Any Tips?

Hello all,

I recently acquired a Rock Pi 4, and I am trying to convert it into a media center for streaming and local media storage. I flashed the most recent Ubuntu server image on it, and I connected it to my TV via HDMI, but I’m not sure how to start configuring Kodi or Plex. Are there any suggested distros or configurations that are optimal for media centers?

I’m also looking into how to include some level of RPA (Robotic Process Automation) into my setup, as I have heard about its capabilities in improving efficiency for automation tasks such as media content management and updates. Are there any recommended RPA tools that could assist in process automation on Rock Pi?

I came across this website: https://forum.radxa.com/t/emmc-setup-rock-pi-4-debian/750-best-rpa-tools but still need some some help.

I also intend to attach an external USB HDD and would like some tips on how to ensure smooth access and optimal performance with all files, especially large media files.

If you have experience setting up similar systems, I’d appreciate any recommendations or insights.

Thanks in advance!
Cheers,
