The circuit diagram available for download shows a HYM8563 external Real Time Clock IC and my home-compiled Armbian recognizes it. In actual fact a BM8563 is on my Rock 3A board v1.31, functionally compatible. (adjacent to the M.2 key M slot, non-CPU side)
I also have the 3 V rtc battery. But now the circuit diagram and reality diverge. The diagram shows a 4 pin connector, the board has a 2 pin connector. And the diagram does not show any recharging circuitry for the battery as it is connected via diodes, without any return path for current. So I assume the diagram is outdated. Could one be made avaiable for the 1.31 board version? And is there a provison for the battery getting charged when there is normal power on of the board?
