Thanks a lot @mo123 for such a great Android TV ROM! I can confirm I got audio through HDMI, which is a deal-breaker for me.
Just a small request: is it possible for you to rebuild this ROM for Rock5A with support for wifi card RTL8822CE? It’s what I’m having as a spare wifi+bluetooth M.2 card, and strangely enough, it is recognized and working in the official Radxa Rock 5A 20241129 Android image here:
That official android image, however, would not output audio over HDMI, only 3.5mm audio is working. Your image is the exact opposite: HDMI audio works, but 3.5mm audio doesn’t. Since I want to use my Rock 5A as an Android TV box, I won’t mind the 3.5mm jack not working, but I would really appreciate if you can make my RTL8822CE wifi+bluetooth working.
Again, thanks for your hard work making Android TV working on Rock 5A boards. My preliminary test shows that it’s a hell of a beast when it comes to emulation, and can comfortably emulate my favorite PS2 games (including God of War 2) at 60FPS 2x native resolutions in NetherSX2 classic (3668). With wifi+bluetooth working, I’m sure your ROM would be the ultimate ROM for smarttube + emulation.

So, I bite the bullet and purchased a used Lenovo RTL8852BE card for my Rock 5A (link here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/296446895921). The good thing is that this rom now recognize wifi, but the bad thing is that bluetooth doesn’t work (symptom: try turning it on, it’s just grayed out, and next time I go back to the bluetooth menu in settings, it’s off again).
@mo123: were you able to get bluetooth working with a RTL8852BE card other than the official Radxa A8 module?

Ah, I should have searched this forum before I purchase the Lenovo RTL8852BE card. In a nut shell, as of currently, only Radxa A8 module have working bluetooth. Other RTL8852BE-based cards from HP or Lenovo only have wifi working but no bluetooth.
The quest to the perfect ROM still hangs in the balance, I guess…
