[ROM] Rock5A/B AndroidTV 12 by mo123
Hi, Iâve got Rock5A. I would like to try your ATV. Could I get password, please?
Hi, love to try it out. Can I have the password? Thank you.
Hi mo123,
thank you for sharing your files, you receive many and many message about password request for ATV img.7z version (5B) and you simply ignore all of them!
You share this password or not ?
@mo123, many thx for sharing. Where i can find a download link for latest nvme R5B version ?
BR, Lucas
hey. I got r5b atv img, passwd pls.
Hi Mo123,
I finally have the right screen to use your image as itâs intended (with a touchscreen). It arrived this weekend but sadly my model is currently not supported (was trying 1.10, the image is even better than the first versions I have tried! Nice visuals, everything butter smooth, etc.) It would be great if you could support my model too in the following versions. I have no idea how to do it myself but I know that itâs working perfectly fine in Joshua Rieks ubuntu for example. This is my dmesg output on Ubuntu:

In addition I noticed USB-C display output is not working with android. Is this because Android is still using an older kernel? This also works for ubuntu. My new screen has PD-passthrough or how itâs called, I just need the display connected to power and only one usb-c cable connected with rock 5b which is really really neat (for ubuntu for now) :> Thank you again for your nice image.
Dear @mo123, thank you so much for this image! I have been using an Odroid N2+ with Coreelec since a couple of years, but now I am going to completely switch to Rock 5B with your ATV build. Performance is amazing, almost everything just works, I am deeply impressed.
The most inconvenient hiccup I found is inability to tune CEC behavior - when I turn off my TV, Rock 5B is also turned off, and it stays off even if I turn my TV on afterwards, so I have to manually unplug the cord and plug it back in to power the SBC on. I have already ordered a 2.4G remote, so, hopefully, that will sidestep the issue, but in the meantime I decided to look around and found the following message in the changelog of âAndroidTV 12 ROM by mo123â for a different board:
Disable auto power off if connected to a HDMI CEC device like a tv that could power off the device too, you can use the remote to put the device in standby mode instead.
Would it be possible to implement a similar feature for your Rock 5B build?
Edit 4: Or to have an option to completely disable CEC auto power off if this problem is related to the broken driver you have mentioned here:
Having box on all the time might be more convenient for some users than manual power cycling.
Edit 5: (this is becoming super messy, I apologize)
As mentioned by @uninvitedguest , the box turns itself back on after some time. I guess that solves the manual power cycling problem
Thanks again for this amazing image!
Edit:
Oh, and this one looks great, too!
If using a 4K display, you can change the DPI to 480/640 in Display and Sound - Density menu to make icons/text bigger.
Edit 2:
This one - âExtra xbox controller supportâ - looks extremely interesting, too! Connecting my xbox controller over USB worked immediately, so I tried afterwards plugging in the wireless dongle that came with my controller, and that didnât work. Is it advised to install a BT card in the Rock 5B to be able to use the xbox controller, or is it only supported over a wired connection?
Thanks in advance!
Hi. Could I get the password please? I would like to try this.
There are settings for HDMI CEC under Input, you can turn the setting off that turns connected devices off.
You can change the density easily with an app.
Radxa hasnât fixed the problem with bluetooth remotes to sleep, wakeup yet that I reported 2 years ago so that wonât work.
For the xbox controller you can post a dmesg or the productâs vendor and product idâs then I can check.
USB adapters usually donât work, only on Windows.
I already added extra xbox controller support to this firmware.
