[ROM] Rock5A/B AndroidTV 12 by mo123

I would like the password as well!

Thank you :slight_smile:

can i use rock 5a ?

Yeah @mo123 when an android image for the Rock 5A? Folks at discord are asking :smiley:

Hey Bro. I Downloaded NVME Firmware . Need the password please~

Are there any Updates for native Amazon & Netflix support in sight?

Again, thank you for your work :slight_smile:

@localhost
For Netflix you can try OpenFydeOS or Batocera Linux then you should have 1080p Netflix.
Unfortunately Netflix will never grant a license to a STB manufacturer since they require a locked bootloader meaning no booting of custom Android or Linux OS’s.
The Amazon mobile app works and through Chrome browser.

@shy
There are several bugs Radxa needs to fix for Rock5A first.

@mo123 Hi, I am using a third-party rtl8852be, wifi works for me but not Bluetooth. Any idea how should I fix it? Thanks a lot.

Hello! @mo123 New Rock 5b Board owner here, going to test out the NVME version of the image w/ the A8 module. Would appreciate the password =D

@Richard_H Can you run lspci on Linux to identify the bluetooth of the rtl8852be?

Hello, I need instructions on how to flash Root Magisk.

@kinjo
Yes, there are just lots of things missing or broken for 5A so waiting for Radxa to fix it.

Thanks, let’s see what sort of fixes radxa can implement.

Hi! I would really like to try this build! Could you please send me the password as well? Thank you

how do you make it boot?
I flashed it to EMMC and I have no HDMI signal, the light is solid green when I plug it in, it never flashes or blink just stays olid green and I have no video output at all
I trued short and long pressing the buttons and nothing, no HDMI signal from either ports, what am I doing wrong?

@anthony_rossetti
Check your HDMI cable and try with a different power adapter.
Do you use the correct flash tools?
AndroidTool v2.96 or higher if flashing the update.img to emmc.
SDDiskTool v1.72 with only SDBoot option selected if flashing the update.img to a micro-sd card.
Etcher v1.18.11 is flashing the gpt.img to emmc or a micro-sd card.

Hello, would you share the password? thanks

Rock5A Firmware has been uploaded.
Enjoy.
