Hi everyone. I dusted off a RockPix, and installed Ubuntu 24 lts. Many times to get it to start I have to unplug it several times, and even if it starts, after a while it crashes. I also changed the power supply, I put a power supply from a Mac Pro, but the result is the same. Should I throw it away?
Is there a cpu heatsink installed? pay attention to cpu temperature and disable such as auto-sleep
Thanks for the reply. I checked the temperatures, and they are around 44-47 degrees. What doesn’t make sense to me is the low voltage: 4.49V. I ordered a new charger to see if the problem is the poor power supply.
Even changing the power supply, the voltage does not exceed 4.49 V. Can someone try to check with the command watch -n 1 sensors what voltage it has on the rockPIX? Thanks
Where did you get 4.49v? My sensors can only see the temperature, not the voltage
Does your power supply support pd protocol?
