RockPi4c Debian11 no USB keyboard, login impossible

Hi all,
I just installed Debian11 to my RockPi4C board, the board boots with no problem and comes up with
login screen. However, I cannot enter the login password because the board does not accept my USB
keyboard, no matter which USB port I am using…
I connected the board via ethernet and tried SSH, but connection refused, although the wiki says that
SSH is enabled as per default…

What can I do to get it working?

Any hint is apreciated,
Regards

You are using wrong image, seem like for 4b. Most likely if you switch port via trigger on board - the center-bottom usb will work

Hello. the image I downloaded is named “rock-pi-4c_debian_bullseye_kde_b22.img”, so it should
be the right image. I downloaded this from Radxa WEB site “https://wiki.radxa.com/Rock4/downloads
in section Rock4c…

Hi
I tried nearly all of the images and had similar problem
This image worked rock-4c-plus_debian_bullseye_kde_b55
and allowed me to use a wireless key board/mouse, with USB port top centre.
Hope this helps
Dan

That’s for sure means that you are using wrong device tree, which usually means wrong image
