Rockpi 4B Power Supply

Just bought a waveshare 's UPS HATB module, which is designed for RaspberryPi 4,with both POGO PIN and USB output port, also support I2C to check battery status.

Original design was POGO PIN with 5V5A large current output, and I checked with seller, the USB port has only 5V2.5A output.
So I could still use it to power my RockPi 4B board via USB port, which works fine for now.

My question is, under what circumstance , Rock pi 4B will drain 3A current ?? Or is 5V2.5A enough for Rock pi 4B ?

Quite nice board, I planned to do some re-soldering work to make I2C work on ROCKPI 4B as well, but it was minor to me at the moment… so pending…

5V/2.5A is enough if you don’t connect any peripherals.
