I’m trying to use the Rock 5T in conjunction with the QuecTel EM05-E module. I’ve followed the guide for the Rock 3B in the documentation, and the SIM card is detected properly.
at+csq however never yields anything but 99,99, indicating no signal
at+cops=? yields CME error 3
at+qeng=“servingcell” displays a message that the modem is searching
I have checked that the QuecTel EM05-E can access the local European bands, and have set the at+qcfg=“bands” to the correct bandmasks.
I have tried this with two SIM cards from different providers, and have also tested both SIM cards in a mobile phone, where they work properly.
I have tried this in two different Rock 5T’s, both have the same problems of never receiving any signal.
If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.
