I got my Rock Pi E, I was toying around from the SD card successfully, and then decided to install it onto the onboard emmc.
From here onwards, no boot whatsoever. I cannot boot from the SD card either. I tried reflashing on the SD the image that I used from the getgo (armbian) without success, the radxa debian image didn’t boot either.
I think the boot order is emmc => sd => USB (which I find debatable given the fact that emmc are now soldered (weird choice by the way, most radxa board come with soldered emmc now, so cannot flash the module externally…). But shouldn’t the card tried SD boot when the emmc does not boot?
I wanted to try and short the emmc to force sd boot without success, I cannot get to maskrom mode.
I wonder if I need to solder the “buttons” for recovery/reset underneath the board (no physical button wtf?).
What are my options to recover and boot from SD again?
I am waiting for my dupont to USB cables, I have the UART ones which surprisingly does not give me anything at all, no output. Even when (supposedly) in maskrom, which I can’t confirm that the shorting I’m doing works.
I’ll report when I get the cables whether I successfully get into maskrom or not.

For some reason I cannot get to maskrom mode, I am shorting the “button” by using a naked dupont pin (the metal part bridging the 2 parts). But nothing.
Should i see the same serial ?
Thank you for the link to the other post, but I was doing things right.
