Rock Pi 4B+ issue with RAM

Using Rock Pi 4B+ with 4 GB of RAM. Installed Ubuntu Server 20.04.
Half of the time system shows that it has only 2 gigs of RAM, and if it shows that 4 is available it usually crashes after some time.

I’m using a laptop USB-C power supply with enough voltage, so power should not be the issue.
Any ideas what’s going on?

Do you have serial console? Can check the bootloader log and send the one working and not working?

Check this:

I don’t, unfortunately. Is there other way to get access to bootloader logs?

Occasionally the OS crashes on some operation (as far as I could tell from the ‘dmesg’ logs it runs out of memory and starts killing processes, but I suspect that there is in fact something wrong with the board).

Most of the time I am accessing the OS remotely. And for instance I was trying to format the HDD. System crashed. Only green light is on. Occasionally it’s just stuck somewhere, blue light is constantly on.

I’m trying to connect with the seller about warranty.
