I am new to Android and the Rock Pi 4. I have a Rock Pi 4B and an official Raspberry Pi 7 inch touchscreen.
I am not getting any output from the display (during boot as well as when the OS has loaded). The HDMI works just fine. I even have a Rock Pi 4A with the same results. I also have a Raspberry Pi 3B+. The touchscreen works just fine there. I am using the latest image for Android that is listed on the Radxa site for tablet. Is there something I am missing? Is there a configuration change I need to make? BTW, I am using the eMMC to boot from.
Android 9 not supprot the official Raspberry Pi 7 inch touchscreen, Not yet.
Thanks for the info. What Android versions currently support the display and touchscreen? Does 8.1 support the display? Also are there any easy to find pre-made images w/ Google Play store?
I found an image on the Radxa website. It was cleverly disguised as Android 7 480P (DS1).
Android 7 480P image works!. Also, is there a GPIO pin that has a default option to control power off and on?
Maybe an app fro Google play store that can be recommended for this task?
