Hi, I’m designing a small carrier board that plugs into both M.2 M-key slots on the underside
of the ROCK 5T (V1.2) and hangs about 2.5 mm under the board, the height of the 2280 standoffs.
In Radxa’s 3D model (radxa_rock5t_3d_pcba_v1.2) the two inductors L5001 and L5002 sit under the
far ends of the two 2280 cards, a few millimetres to ~15 mm before the standoffs, one under each
card, and they are drawn 2.8 mm tall. A card’s underside is only 2.5 mm off the board, so by the
model a 2280 SSD would rest on them.
Could someone with a ROCK 5T check?
- With a 2280 SSD fitted: does it lie flat on its standoff, or does it rest on the inductor
(a slight bow, a gap at the standoff)?
- With calipers: the height of L5001 / L5002 above the board’s underside, and of the 2280
standoff.
A photo from the side would help too. Thanks a lot!
