Rock 5b with eMMC module always in Maskrom mode

Even not press Maskrom button, Rock5B is always in Maskrom mode after plugging USB-A to Type-C cable.
With RkDevTool, image download progress is normal and show “Download image OK” . But after download, it is still in Maskrom mode.

Rock5B can boot normally with a sdcard.

+1 : Same with my board. Using RKDevToolv2.96 on Windows.

Good: Your board is alive, as long as you see the Maskrom mode
Try: Flash your board until you success. I tried the steps in doc
