ROCK 5B Power Supply Solution Questions

I want to develop an unmanned cart with 5B, if I have a 12V DC power module and then connect it to the USB-C power port of 5B with a two-wire usb-c cable, can I make 5B work stably with such a power supply? Or is there a more stable power supply solution that does not use a power adapter?
