It’s not working, I read some guides on patching with radxa debian. Not sure if related. I was told by someone on the discord about some random git pull, so I assume work is being done? Does anyone have any more information on getting it working? Or perhaps I can wait for a patch? Or is it impossible and I should refund the A8 as it doesn’t do the thing it said? I checked the forums but none of the others are about the A8 wifi/bt module.
Rock 5b jammy armbian bluetooth with A8
The latest Armbian should already have the latest kernel patches included, so you just need to follow the official tip and blacklist some modules.

Now, let’s try fixing your BT.
nano /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
then add these lines somewhere (at the bottom of the file is fine):
blacklist pgdrv
blacklist btusb
blacklist btrtl
blacklist btbcm
#blacklist btintel
Then press Ctrl+X, then Y.
sudo apt install bluez
or bluetooth
systemctl status bluetooth
CTRL+ C
systemctl start bluetooth
Then reboot
.

Cheers, thanks for the tips. Will give it a go. I recall desktop debian systems also having conflicting bluetooth packages sometimes.
Edit: Works like a charm after following instructions
