Hello for everyone!
I’ve got a new rock 5b+ and 2 nvme disks Kingston 1TB (SNV2S/1000G). My point is to get a raid 1 for NAS. The system is Armbian Linux v6.10. And only one of two disks is available after system started. Only the disk installed in m-key2 slot will be recognized. If I exchange disks between each other the same result. Both disks are ok, I’ve checked it. If I install only one disk, it will be recognised in any slot. As it said here PCIe Gen 4 is backward compatible with Gen 3 systems. So how I could configure my system to recognise two Nvme disks?
Rock 5b+ issue with two Nvme disks
Is Armbian officially supported on the 5B+? It may be as simple as the regular 5B having a single m.2 slot and maybe that is what is supported in the Armbian release you have? Just guessing here/
May I ask if this has been tested on our released systems?
Nope, unfortunately I haven’t tested it on Radxa os. But yesterday I’ve installed an Arch distro and it is everything ok with nvme disks. It seems my problem is like Bruce_Costello said: Armbian not implemented support of 5b+ yet
