Rock 5b don't work anymore

I contacted the technical service to see if there is any possibility to understand if the board is still functioning. They recommended me to check if the serial link produce output, but windows always returns an error of some kind; so I do not know how to proceed. Any help is appreciated.

Please try to delete the connection and open a new connect or check whether the port com5 is occupied.

You can’t use this chip with windows 10. Use windows 7. Or different chip.

I don’t have any others. I fixed the problem after following a guide on the windows forum.
