Rock 5B+ 4GB model availability?

Just curious if anyone has insight into availability of the 4GB models (preferably w/eMMC). Seems every store that carries the 5B+ is consistently showing the 4GB model as out of stock and there’s no posts or other information I can find anywhere that gives any kind of hints.

We do not stock this model in the 4GB configuration and the lowest specification currently available starts at 8GB.

Just for confirmation, is this a case of it just isn’t available now or it won’t ever be available? Since all the retailers/partners have a 4GB option listed (just not available) that has made me curious. If it may be available in the future, is there any rough guess when that may be?

Thank you for your inquiry and expectation for our X4. Regarding 4GB, we currently have no plans to stock it, but we will prepare to produce 4GB for customers to order next time. Same here! I’m developing a project based on Rock 5B+ and I need to test different memory configurations to define the minimum hardware requirements. I already have a 16Gb model and an 8Gb one. If the project ends with success, I’ll need to buy several units of this SBC. For this I must lower the overall project budget considering the 4Gb version with -hopefully- the eMMC module.

Any chance of seeing the 4Gb version in stock?
